Hi there! My name is Hannah Boyd and I am currently a senior at Collegedale Academy. This is my first year joining Echolier and I can hardly wait to see what it holds in store for all of us.
I have always loved writing and I thought it would be a good idea to end high school involved in something I am passionate about. Considering that I have not been a part of many extracurricular activities while in school, I figured now was the perfect time to change that.
One huge inspiration in my life is my dad. He did what he needed to in order to achieve his goals, even though he went through ups and downs. I aspire to be like him in my writing and in the way I live my life.
I’ve always been good with animals. In fact, I currently work at a vet clinic and take care of fuzzy critters that need a place to stay for the night. Unfortunately, my future interests lean more towards human anatomy, even though animals are the greatest. Once I graduate from high school, I plan to get my Bachelor’s degree in Biology and move on to medical school to become an OB/GYN. I definitely did not see myself going into the medical field when I was younger, but now, it is mostly all I think about.
I am thrilled to be a part of Echolier this year and hope to contribute to articles that will make a difference in the school. This year is going to be the best yet!
