The NCAA Final Four is set. Sixty-four collegiate teams set out at the beginning of this month to find out who is going to be crowned national champion.

Now, only four remain. They are Gonzaga, the number one seed; Oregon, a Cinderella story after beating Kansas, a perennial powerhouse; University of North Carolina; and University of South Carolina.

As this next round of basketball is played, eyes are looking hopefully toward a battle of the Carolinas in the championship. However, before South Carolina can even look forward to meeting their longtime rivals in the championship, they must set their eyes on dispatching powerhouse Gonzaga led by 7’1″ Przemek Karnowski of Poland, and veteran floor general point guard, Nigel Williams-Goss.

These two, between their skill around the basket and ability to create scoring opportunities (respectively), are the reason why Gonzaga earned a number 1 ranking this year. It will be interesting to see who will survive.
