The Collegedale Academy Eagles golf team soared through the district tournament behind the solid play of Thomas Hayes and Casey Tull. Hayes and Tull shot 80 and 82 which put them in 2nd and 6th place out of the 55 players. CA also received contributions from Brady Tull with a score of 85 and Max McKenzie with a 90. The total team score of 337 put the Eagles in second place behind Boyd Buchanan, who won the district with a team score of 328. With the top three out of eight teams advancing to the regional tournament, Collegedale Academy will be playing again on Thursday hoping to clinch a spot in state tournament.
