Hey! My name is Amber Mayr and I’m a junior at Collegedale Academy.
I chose to join Echolier because I want to improve my writing, social skills, and critical thinking. I believe writing should be used not only to inform, but as a means to ask questions, explore different situations, and understand others a little better. This applies to all forms of storytelling, whether it be fiction, poetry, or in this case, journalism.
I’m a notebook-margin doodler, aspiring author, future filmmaker (or teacher), and INFP. Some unchecked boxes on my bucket list are to publish my own fiction and poetry, visit Australia, write music, and work through my ever-growing "To Read" list. I want to be kind to everyone because no one should feel lonely or judged because of me. I want my life to reflect Jesus.
