On Sabbath, January 18, 2014, CA’s concert band, under the direction of Mr. Gregory Lindquist, performed during two worship services at Collegedale Community Church.

The band praised God with “Lead On, O King Eternal” and “Jubilee” as special music selections. During both songs, the flute sections emitted a cohesive and vibrant sound, while the percussion section added variety featuring junior Zachary Nall on the xylophone and freshman Joshua Vollberg on the timpani.

Offering more than just special music selections, the band provided a postlude, an interlude as children made their way up front for the children’s story, and seniors Whitney Aumack and Alex Pervis led the congregation in song while the band accompanied.
