Lady Eagles Cruise past Cleveland Christian

The CAYA volleyball team defeated the Cleveland Christian Crusaders in straight sets at a match held on Tuesday, September 3.

The Eagles needed only three sets to finish off the Crusaders on the road, winning easily. Senior Savannah Shoemake attributed this mainly to the team’s serving skills, adding that fellow senior, Kaylin Cowan, had 12 or 14 serves in a row.

Shoemake also noted that even with their victory, there was still room for the team to improve, specifically in their passing and endurance.

The Lady Eagles look forward to an upcoming home game on Thursday, September 12 and a tri-match at Georgia Tech on Friday, September 13.
