There is a war going on this very moment. It’s happening all around us, and we are on one or the other side.

This war is between God and Satan, and we are in the middle, oblivious of the seriousness at hand.

This war is not of flesh and blood but of a higher dimension. Ephesians 6:11-12 states: “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Satan hates us and in the end will lose this battle but will do all in his power to take us down with him.

Let’s rise to be soldiers for God and make the number one 2017 goal to be people who diligently, daily seek after God–daily praying for the full armor of Christ and renewing of our spirit.

Call to God in temptation, trouble, loneliness, sadness, etc. He is a God of love and will not force His will on us. Ask for forgiveness and know by faith you have been granted it. With this new year, let us strive to Reject Passivity, Lead Courageously, Invest Eternally (build the character), and Accept Responsibility (Matthew 28:20-God is with us always).

This year be bold in truth and do not take the easy way out. Stand strong like a rock, make a difference, and make known the injustice, lying, cheating, bullying, excluding and the evil that is all around us. “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them” (Ephesians 5:11).
