Last month the SA’s character trait was “Go Big or Go Home,” and freshman Meg Ermer took home the coveted eagle bobblehead.

Ermer’s nominee praised her for giving a chapel talk even though she is a new student.

Although nervous and worried, Ermer went before all her peers and bravely shared her faith.

Ermer was extremely surprised to win and didn’t think she deserved the award.

“Anyone can go up and give a chapel,” Ermer said.

When asked what inspired her to give the chapel, Ermer said “God working through problems with me is what I like most about him, and I’ve really learned to rely on him and I just wanted to share that.”
