She knew you first: a tribute to mothers

Morgan Nash, writer

“She dreamt things for you before you could see them for yourself. And made room for your plans before her own. She put on a face of ‘everything’s perfect’ to teach you grace—and stripped it all away to teach you grit. She made it up as she went. And she’s still making it up—in the only honest way that’s ever mattered.” -Unknown

To all the mothers out there:

You are so very appreciated. Even though there are probably days when you feel like you are doing everything wrong—with piled-up laundry or a messy house—you are not failures.

Thank you for always being there to warm our hearts.

Thank you for teaching us how to so gracefully handle life.

Thank you for showing us true love.
