Recently The New York Times published an article here reporting that Google is soon to be the leader in language translation technology.
A product set for soon release will, in theory, be able to decipher the audio from a voice and compare it to the trillions of modern slangs and dialects to arrive at a proper and useful translation.
This new tool is not the only service slated for release, they will also be releasing “a service that enables you to hold your phone up to a foreign street sign and create an automatic translation on the screen.”
