A large number of CA students participated in SonRise this year.

Nearly every scene had from one to many Collegedale Academy students decked out as soldiers, merchants, lepers, etc., and acting the part.

With more student participation, other students going through were also brought into a different reality.

“I loved seeing lots of my friends and fellow school members,”sophomore Emily Austin said. “It was really neat being able to interact with the actors on a more comfortable basis, to the extent of making them break their character. It also made the pageant more real for me.”
