With the school year slowly coming to a close, many seniors wonder “Will I even pass this year?” Teachers warn students every day to stay on task and put forth a little effort to even make a passing grade. Seniors must have their grades passing a week before class trip or they cannot go; moreover, the must have passing grades to graduate this year as well.

The ability to recover the time lost in procrastination by this time of year is difficult but achievable; however, students still choose to wait until last minute to finish assignments, write papers, and study for tests. By the time senior year comes around, the difficulty of class work diminishes greatly for some.

“Senior year is the easiest by far, we don’t do anything at all,” says Eric Marquez. While others such as Ryan McCullough say, “Senior year is only as difficult as you make it for yourself.”

Regardless of how heavy his or her work load is, every senior is acutely aware of the fact that the year is drawing to a close, and that may either motivate one to exert a little extra effort or relax and take the last few weeks of high school easy.
