This year, CA said goodbye to Dixie, the loving and faithful companion of woodshop teacher Bob Bolton. Dixie was a fixture around CA for 12 years, accompanying Mr. Bolton to work and exploring the halls. She was even included in the yearbook on the staff page. A common refrain from new students was “whose dog is that?” when they spotted the cute black lab wandering the halls. While Dixie was always a bit shy at first, she enjoyed getting pets from the students, and trips to Burger King with Mr. Bolton where Dixie would always get a little treat. Rest in peace, Dixie.
