The Collegedale Academy Golf team beat the Hixon Wildcats but lost to the Chattanooga Christian School Chargers in a Tri-match on Tuesday, August 27, at the Brown Acres Golf Course.  The Eagles’ score of 182 was enough to defeat Hixson but not nearly enough to beat the score of 169 by the Chargers.
Junior Thomas Hayes was the Eagles medalist in this contest with a score of 39.  He said he was disappointed because overall the team was playing well and had a good practice on Monday (the 26^th).

“We all thought we had a pretty good chance of winning,” Hayes said.

The Eagles have four matches left this season, two of them being Tri-matches.  The next game is Thursday, August 29, against Hixson at the Windstone Golf Course.
