The CAYA Eagles beat the Chattanooga Warriors in 5 sets in the Collegedale Academy Gym on Tuesday, August 27.
The Chattanooga Warriors is a home-school team and was technically the “home” team in this matchup but was allowed to use CA’s gymnasium for the game.  The Eagles took all five sets to put away the Warriors. The Eagles won the first two sets, and the Warriors won the next two before the Eagles won in the last set.
“I don’t think it was our best game, but I think that in the end when we weren’t doing so well we pulled through and we were able to pull out another win,” senior Savannah Shoemake said.
The Eagles are now undefeated through four games this year.  They next face Tennessee Christian on Thursday, August 29, and have a big home game against Collegedale Academy’s rival GCA on the night of the 31^st.  The game begins at 9:00 p.m., and worship will be held from 8:00 to 8:45 p.m.
