What if I told you that you could have fun while still staying safe from Covid?

“How?” you may ask. Here are some  socially-distanced activities to help curb the weekend blues.

  1.  Have a movie marathon! Zoom with a friend and share your screen. Grab all your favorite snacks, pick out your favorite movie series or TV show and pack on the blankets. Spice it up by creating a fort and putting a projector up.
  2.    Go to a nearby park with a blanket and a sketchbook. Bring your favorite snack or drink, put on your favorite playlist and get lost in your artistic side. You can also do this with a book. Get your read on.
  3. Have a photoshoot! Set your phone or camera up with a cool background you can find near or in your house. Put it on a self-timer and click away. Try out some photo trends that you found on Pinterest or Tiktok. Dive into your creativity with props and effects. Take time to edit the photos and make them look finished.
  4.   Edit your home screen. Since the new version of IOS came out tons of people have spent hours and I mean HOURS on making their phone aesthetically pleasing. This could take you some time. FaceTime a friend or play some music to keep you going.
  5.    Have a zoom meeting with friends or go to an empty parking lot and have a car meet. Blast some music and just enjoy the vibe with your friends.
  6.     Call a friend you haven’t seen in awhile. Facetime them. Play game pigeon games with them. See who can win more games of 8-ball.
  7. Write a letter or send a care package to a friend. Sometimes it’s fun to do things the old fashioned way, and who doesn’t like getting mail? It’s like Covid Christmas!

As always, have fun, stay distanced, stay safe.
