Top Ten: Favorite places to visit in the U.S.

Madison Reinschmidt, writer

Captiva Island, Florida – This small island off the coast of Fort Myers, the sister to Sanibel, is near and dear to my heart. As a kid, traveling there to search for gorgeous shells was so exciting, and the memories of life on the beach is forever engraved in my mind.

Nashville, Tennessee – It is the city of country music and also my favorite place to go for a hockey game.

Buffalo, New York – Not only does this place have a lot to offer, but it’s my place of birth. Just the atmosphere of the city and nearby Niagara Falls makes me feel cozy and at home.

Rockport, Massachusetts – Even though I’ve only been there once, it still made my Top Ten list. With adorable shops and places to eat, this coastal town has it all.

Jordan, Montana – The tiny town of only 300 people took over my heart with ease. From the moment I stepped foot on the rolling hills, I was enchanted. The few days that my family and I  spent there searching for fossils and dinosaur bones were some of the best days of my life.

San Francisco, California – From the Golden Gate Bridge to watching a Giants game, there are many attractions in this sunny Californian city.

Yosemite National Park  – A very gorgeous place to visit with God’s incredible nature and breathtaking views.

Grand Canyon National Park – One of Arizona’s top attractions; the Colorado River running through it makes it a tourist spot for people all over the world.

Red Rock Amphitheater – Whether you’re there for a concert, or just a hike, this place is my favorite to experience great music and the views of a city below.

Walt Disney World – This amusement park is the place where dreams come true for those of all ages and holds fond memories from my childhood.
