Posting a 4-0 record, the CAYA varsity teams took the championship trophy in the November 7-8 Southern Jamboree tournament hosted by CA.

Three of CA’s neighboring academy basketball teams–Madison Academy, Georgia Cumberland Academy, and Mount Pisgah Academy–participated in the tournament, along with the CAYA JV teams.

The tournament lasted from Saturday night until Sunday morning, and each team played each other.

With an 0-4 record, both CAYA JV teams finished in 4th place.

Sophomore Casey Tull, from CAYA boys’ varsity, won the 3-point competition held on Saturday night.
