Collegedale Academy is a school of many traditions. Some of these traditions, such as icebreaker and S.A. Picnic, are still practiced today. However, quite a few do not exist anymore. Here is a list of nine traditions that have ceased.

1. Vespers every Friday night
2. A barn party on Halloween where everyone came in a costume
3. S.A. Christmas Party
4. Academy Talent Program
5. Girls’ and Guys’ Receptions, Valentine’s Day Banquet, and Christmas Banquet
6. Junior/Senior Retreat at Cohutta Springs
7. Senior Night
8. Ski trip
9. Lock In
