Monday May 12th, the Collegedale Academy tennis team played in the regional tennis tournament at Champions Club in downtown Chattanooga.  The team advanced from the district tournament a week and a half ago.  Now some of the team is headed to the state tournament.  
        The doubles team of junior Emily Wilt and sophomore Mattie Sue Nafie beat a doubles team from Silverdale Baptist Academy.  They will be playing in the upcoming state tournament.  The boys team of senior Spencer Pflug and junior Ivan Snyder lost in the semi-finals to Hixon.  The boys overall winner was a team from Boyd Buchanan who beat Hixon.
