Seven years have passed since President Obama and the Democrats in Congress wrote and passed the Affordable Healthcare Act.

Seven years have passed since Republicans, in their infinite wisdom, said that this was a horrible plan that would ruin America. Now, however, it’s a totally different story.

The Republicans, with a majority in the House and Senate and a Republican president, finally have their chance to repeal and replace the “abominable” Affordable Healthcare Act, more commonly known as Obamacare. So what is this amazing plan that has been in the works for 7 years and will save the world?

It’s called the American Healthcare Act. In essence, it is a plan that will give a $50,000 tax cut to the top 1% of Americans and a $250,000+ tax break to those in the top 1/10 of 1%.

Also, this healthcare act, which was lauded as a plan that would give free health insurance to everyone, especially the poor who could not afford to pay for it themselves, will cause up to 24.5 million, MILLION, of the poorest Americans to lose any benefits they received from Obamacare. 

On top of all this, the Republican-majority House of Representatives could not even come together to fully remove the Affordable Healthcare Act and replace it with their alternative.
